A little backyard snowmaking for my little snowpark. Temps were in the teens, and I was running a dual gun setup. Gun 1 was a BETE XAAD nuc, 4002, and 4003. Gun 2 was a SS 6507 nuc, 4002 and 4003. Ran 500PSI water (total 3.5GPM) and 90PSI Air on custom air and water setup. Total run time was 15.5 hours and 3050 gallons of water used.

  • hey man i have a snowmaker and i was making snow in the backyard and after about 2 hours the ground was like iced over. Is it going to start accumulating or what? Its been like 5 degrees and everything i was just wondering if i should keep going or what

  • Sounds like your nuc is not set properly. Checkout snowguns dot com. Did you build it or buy it? Your nuc stream should be frozen at about 12-24 inches and drawn up into the bulk. If not you will get ice or slush, no matter what the temp.
