@driver64 No actually, his name is Samir Aziz Mikhail, He was the best MiG 21 ace in the world, with 5 proven kills, his title was "King of Low Flying". He made maneuvers only a metre-high from the ground by a MiG 21pfm. Oh and he's still alive!

@Dannoo007 in those days lot of Soviet instructor-pilot were in African air forces . He was for sure one of them. If he was flying a MiG-23 he could easily overwhelm this circumcised Nesher :))

To hit by a rocket it means die. And there is alot in Egyptian military documents could prove the name and the date of the maneuver.

And because of this maneuver they plan starting point for 1973 war and 98% Success on the first air strike against Israel

Being shot down doesnt necessarily mean you die, the Israeli pilots did not deny a ejection, and my question is, how do we know that this is the same pilot.
