If we lose the wild salmon and herring our oceans will be beyond our ability to repair. Say goodbye to the mighty Bear and Eagle and the creatures second only to us in the great chain of life, Cetaceans. Plenty of Orca says fancy. And darkisland says its profitable for no not perfect but a caring lady to protest the demise of the vital wild salmon. What a pair you 2 are and Danny boy you bring shame to our name Danny. I am with you Alexandra. because our time to change is running out.

At least she is trying to help the decreasing numbers of healthy wild salmon .which is more than I can say for all you pricks. Hey fancy ever wonder why you and almost all of the rest of the remaining commercial fisherman are X-commercial fisherman? Hmm cuz the fish are almost all gone! You greedy bastards are not going to be happy until we cripple the vital salmon and herring stocks for good are you?The last few species of fish we can still rape from our oceans. .

She is not saving she is trying to save. She is totally correct in everything she says and if we don't help her and our salmon that everything we hold dear will soon be lost.Your just wonderful and thank you so much for all you do.I can't even imagine how you have carried on fighting without your precious orca around you and my respect for you unmeasurable.

Thank you for making this film. I haven't been to the area in over ten years and have been concerned about how the salmon farms are effecting the Orca population. It saddens me that they are now not there. I enjoyed the book what the whales have taught us, and admire your work. May you have success in saving this area from the devastation of salmon farming.

patjoenkids-Look up orca/whale watching on the internet and see how many eco tour operators there are offering whale watching on the coast of BC. many of them in the Archipeligo, Do you think the industry would be worth anyything if there were no whales to watch. grab a figging brain

Norvegian Oil companies and the Norvegian State are so driven by greed that it is unbelievable! I wish there would be huge campaigns against the Norvegian Salmon Fish Farms. In Norway alone 1 million Salmon escapes the fish farms each year, and the sealice are damaging wild salmon and seatrout. In scotland, Wales and Ireland we see the same thing. Sea lice killing and destroying unique populations of wild salmon and seatrout. BOYKOTT Cermaq, Hydro Texaco and Norvegian Farmed Salmon.

I agree to a point.
What people like you fail to know is that there's people INSIDE the industry that works toward balance and change, and not everything that is good in the industry was forced on them by protesters.

Ms. Morton misinforms and attacks because it is profitable to her. She spreads propaganda and contradicts herself on a regular basis and it's sickening to watch the pot call the kettle black.

people like me? You mean scientists and concerned humans. Every scientific study done by any legitimate group of biologists shows a parallel in regards to salmon farming and its negative impacts on native salmon. Please don't be swept up by the small counter culture that has a large financial stake in salmon farming. Twice now you have subtly tried to call me names and attack my view on this. I view your arguement to be greatly flawed.

If you feel that I have called you a name, I apologize. That is not my intention.
I appreciate your views and find you and the person who posted this to be quite smart and enjoy the conversation that we are engaged in.

Let me re-phrase: It would seem to me that many people fail to realize that there ARE good people INSIDE the industry that works toward balance and change.
