Scythe GentleTyphoon 120mm Fan 1850rpm

RPM: 1850
Connector: 3-pin motherboard connector (RPM monitoring, no PWM speed control)

This is the highest rpm model of the quiet 120mm GentleTyphoons (They make higher RPM models now, but they are significantly louder). I wanted to see how quiet it was. Running at full speed @ 12volts (really 12.5, as the other power supply I was using at the time put out 12.5) Also these 1850rpm fans are hard to find; when they sell out they sell out everywhere, so grab them when you can.

This fan comes with a Molex male to 3-pin male adapter, so you can power this directly from a power supply. The adapter also has a tachometer output, so you can view the fan speed from your motherboard applications.

@ulfmusskacken With certain high quality fans, you get both power and quiet. That's why I made these videos, to find the best fans. I would go with the GentleTyphoon AP-15 or 14, or the Cougar CF-V12HP.
