The thing that I most love about KF's playing, apart from his choice of phrasing which is a mix of Larry Carlton, Freddie King & Albert King, is his choice of TONE and the way he switches tone during each segment of a solo. Everytime he changes he seems to acheive just the PERFECT tone for the phrase. Not many players do this...i haven't seen/heard it done since i saw Hendrix in 1970. This CD "My Turn" (like "Shades Of Blue') will never fail to please if you love Blues guitar.

Awesome, I love to hear blues guitarists who sound like themselves rather than retreads of other guitarists. Kirk is a monster musician!
