One of the most expressive baritone voices in the genre of folk music!

@Grouchomx Maybe when he's singing Stan's songs but Garnet is very unique in his own way. Incredible imagery in his writing. An incredibly powerful and/or soothing voice. Amazing guitar and fiddle player. It must suck for him and Nathan, both incredibly talented people, to constantly be compared to Stan. That family was blessed with talent.

Stan is a hero. Garnet is here.

Don't underestimate this guy. I've met him and he let me handle THIS Strat. The heaviest gauge strings I ever felt in my life. I could play them if I had a pair of Craftsman pliers? That's how he gets the sound.

Wasn't quite set, at first, on whether I liked Garnett's interpretation...but I grows on one and now I really enjoy his version as well.

Sorry, but I'll always consider Garnet "Stan-lite".
Man, do I ever miss him fiddling this song...
That is such a fantastic guitar sound!!!

Thank you so much for posting this. Garnet's records are great, but nothing like seeing him in concert. Especially singing Northwest Passage.
