  • Man, do I ever miss him fiddling this song...

That is such a fantastic guitar sound!!!

  • Thank you so much for posting this. Garnet's records are great, but nothing like seeing him in concert. Especially singing Northwest Passage.

  • One of the most expressive baritone voices in the genre of folk music!

  • @Grouchomx Maybe when he's singing Stan's songs but Garnet is very unique in his own way. Incredible imagery in his writing. An incredibly powerful and/or soothing voice. Amazing guitar and fiddle player. It must suck for him and Nathan, both incredibly talented people, to constantly be compared to Stan. That family was blessed with talent.

  • Stan is a hero. Garnet is here.

  • Don't underestimate this guy. I've met him and he let me handle THIS Strat. The heaviest gauge strings I ever felt in my life. I could play them if I had a pair of Craftsman pliers? That's how he gets the sound.

  • Wasn't quite set, at first, on whether I liked Garnett's interpretation...but I grows on one and now I really enjoy his version as well.

  • Sorry, but I'll always consider Garnet "Stan-lite".
