Nearly half of the U.S. coral reef ecosystems are considered to be in "poor" or "fair" condition according to a new analysis of the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or NOAA. The report was presented during the 11th International Coral Reef Symposium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida this week. Producer Zulima Palacio looks into the new report on the eve of the International Year of the Reef 2008. Jim Bertel narrates the story.
The Ocean is the great lung of the earth. What better wa to kill ourselves off then to kill our lungs. Ask any smoker.... "We will all die someday, smoking increases the quality of my life" Is the most common answer. We need to find a way to live in outer space. Not to live in outer space, but to be able to live on our little poluted planet. Also look for "the garbage patch".

I am glad of all the random pointless videos posted on YouTube that there actually happens to be some educational ones that inform us of the different problems that exist in the world today. By having a single video like this it could raise the awareness to thousands of youtubers that have no idea of the problems surrounding them.
