@Wiitoo yeah a great action dign of the pirates in a 2nd war old ship out of the war zone congrats!!! send regards to the sheffield, coventry, antelope and ardent!!!! that appens in war...
Genuinely sorry for the lives that were lost, but this incident demonstrates the power of the SSN...forget the aircraft carrier, the SSN is the true capital ship of the modern era. Let's hope a Falklands II never happens.
@naka20002002 Pirates, ...yes and we are very good at it.
What are your views on the fact that Kirchner (a good Argentine name ..jawohl) has been told , in a signed document, by respected historians, law experts, politicians and Journalists that The Islanders must be allowed the decision of Sovereignty, and that she is criticised for her "constant harassment" of the Islanders
They fulfilled their duty but still nothing to be proud of in certain because there was still a loss of life, soldiers who lost their lifes that were sent there by their insane leaders and hadn't any private profit from what was going on there...
@naka20002002 The truth is that Argentina's claim is tenuous at best - it's only possible claim is that the islands became theirs when Spain handed over her holdings when her empire collapsed.. Problem is Spain had already abandoned the islands and had no holdings or colonies there...
Argentina's claim is so weak it still to this day refuses to take the dispute to an international court...
Because it simply knows that it would lose the case.
@naka20002002 You ARE stupid - the islands were claimed by the first man to land on them in 1690 - Captain John Strong from England and by the act of Union the entire UK has the ONLY valid claim to these islands - we have NEVER withdrawn that claim and we are the ONLY nation to have permanently settled the islands.
The islands were invaded in 1832 by Argentine military forces who tried to set up a penal colony. Britain simply removed them and resserted it's right of ownership.
@naka20002002 The Argentinians never colonised the Falkland islands themselves, they never established a permanent settlement. The British DID colonise the place. Argentina smells oil in the South Atlantic and wants the islands now. As I said earlier, it the Argentinians who wish to impose THEIR WILL on the British inhabitants. You claim the islands are Argentinian-even though they are 400 miles off your coast. France is only 20 miles away from Britain, can we lay claim to it? ROFL
It is useless to continue, they will always believe the islands belong to them to England. The UN supports the decision of the islanders, okay, but who put on these islands?
The islands were invaded in 1833 by the British, like many others,
I'm not stupid, which is stupid to try to argue with people coming from a country with ideology of colonialism

@naka20002002 Dude, your whole country is a product of colonialism. Your ancestors were Europeans too. Maybe you should go 'home' to Spain?

This one great action bottled up the rest of the Argentine fleet, yes a loss of life - but that happens in war.
