@newyorkgal01 While I agree with what you said, you have to remember what the guy told Annie's parents. These people probably are the nicest people you'd meet, but they are so dirt poor, it turns into a game of "survival of the fittest". If people could walk in their shoes and become so damn desperate for money, they'll do the unthinkable just to survive. Also, the look on the woman's face shows she wasn't for it, but she's a woman, she has no say in it. Pathetically sad.
