@Ryandri0d Then you miss the meaning of the song and the beauty of it. When Hawaiians sing about flowers. it is about the people themselves - they are na pua o Hawai`i. That is the true beauty and majest of Hawai`i - the people. Kaulana na pua. Sorry you do not realize what a treasure there in in O`ahu.. It is a rich treasure, indeed.

Trust me, I live here and nothing paints a more unrealistic picture of Hawaii than Hawaiian music. Oa'hu is so industrialized it may as well be any other state.

This song paints such a true picture of Hawai`i. Uncle Richard sings this so sweetly, although I do miss Uncle Solomon. Mahalo, Uncle Richard for your wonderful music, and mahalo Uncle George for making it happen.
