One of my favourite indie movies. I find this last scene so intense.. Beautiful, really. I just found the italian version, but I think you can get it right

My mother, and I, see this scene as the most Italian thing in movies. Two brothers, conflicted, but in the end, brothers. Feeling the feeling of blood on blood beyond any other worldly conflict, over a simple meal of eggs and bread. I know the cousin i would embrace over that meal...and the oil and eggs and seasonings I would use. It's an Italian familial love.

This was a beautiful film, everything went so wrong but this little scene made you think things may be all right..

da cuoco credo che ogni persona che lavori in una cucina debba vedere questo film e leggere"kitchen confidential" di antony bourdain...as a"chèf" I think that anyone who wants to work in a kitchen should watch this movie and read antony bourdain's kitchen confidential. A must!

A beautiful film (which I've seen at least half a dozen times and which I enjoy more on each succeeding occasion), and a beautiful scene of resolution! Filial love and shared food (so fitting in this movie) dissolve the conflict between the two brothers. This is the best scene in the film, and follows logically and perfectly from all that has gone before. It's one of my favourite scenes in any film, period.

a great and simple scene. i also love the way the whole scene is shot in one long "take". you don't see that much in movies today.
