  • Wow, they cana lways rent a one bed room apt BUT they still want a big house??? I saw the pics of the house they want to move, havent they learned their lesson? I grew up with 6 siblings and we struggled and lived in very very small 2 bedrm house...they ought to do the same if they really dont have money, tough times.

  • 6 kids???!? REALLY?? You'd better be at least a millionaire if you want to give those 6 kids a decent future.

  • Remember if you listen to the story,,, it was through no fault of their own.. These are families that are trying to make it.. Not asking for a handout... where is your passion... Each one of us are one paycheck away from being homeless... The economy is getting harder, those that don't care... your day will come... Where is your compassion?

  • @Godzie1 The intent was to say you don't have to have a fancy house to be fine. Think these folks could be out soonest if they didn't feel they had to have fancy, and when something happens again, they'll be back in that shelter. Could I end up in a shelter? Well maybe, but not nearly as easy as someone who is out on their ear when they can't make the rent. :)

  • This video should be a wake up call for middle class married couples. The days of having a "house full of kids" are OVER! Daycare, medical/dental expenses, food, clothes, and utilities are extremely difficult to manage if you are living paycheck to paycheck, even with two incomes. The system is set up for the wealthy and the poor, not the "working poor" aka middle class.

  • @koelschwolf I had Lasik 10 years ago, so i sort of know what to expect, my Mom also had this done, but I am a little nervous, and yes , we have talked about relocating, my hubby is in IT and is highly educated, he is also French and speaks 3 languages and is pretty good on a fourth, I am redoing his resume and he will be ready to meet with recruiters in a few weeks, I think in Feb he should be going out on interviews and we shall see what we can do !!

  • @koelschwolf We live in Atlanta, out in the burbs, 15 min from downtown, the houses here on foreclouses are a great deal, my hubby is going to chance jobs after the first of the year, I am a home maker for the very first time, I am also 14 years older than he is and lost my job 2 weeks before we were married, we are doing fine, but I am goint to try to wrok from home after I have cataract surgery ( yikes ), doing something online, any suggestions?

  • @koelschwolf I hear ya ! We would love to sell this place and buy a 3 bedroom on a "foreclousure", we have talked about adopting a child sense I cannot have children, but I am really thinking it will not be for us, just sell this plae and buy a nice 2 story townehome on a foreclouser with 2 -3 bedrooms and no assoc fee.

  • @koelschwolf You said it ! I bought my 1 bedroom condo within my means !!! It was all I needed, 1300 ft, now I am married and we are paying this place off, I refinanced a few years back and shaved off 15 years on this place, buy within your means, and stop having way too many children you cannot afford to feed and buy clothes for !

  • @gertie2u2 Are you bragging or complaining? You write all the wonderful things going for you, but yet it is on a YouTube page on a story of a unfortunate family that is living in a shelter. Things change in life & it may not be today or next year? But it could be you living in a shelter. (Don't think it can't happen?) :P
