Trying to convert to Islam

I went to a website dedicated to get people to convert to Islam, and they had a live chat service that you could use, if you had any questions about converting. So I took the opportunity to ask the advisor how I could really know that the religion was true... Yeah...

It seems as tho the trick is that you really have to WANT to believe it, then it will al be crystal clear... Wierd, I never have to do that to believe that the grass is green or that the sun is warm... Interesting...

Ok, joke aside, I wasn't really serious while chatting to the poor guy, and some of my arguments are stupid, but it was just for fun to see how the whole conversion-advisor-chat thing worked :P

I have seen plenty of those websites and still not found anything resembling proof. If you have the evidence, then give it to me, if not then why do you believe these myths? You obviously dont have any evidence or else you wouldn't have to give me a link to some other website.

Oh and there's no such thing as a scientific "miracle"

@SecularSwede It does not say kill others who do not believe in what you do. You have proved your stupidity in scripture. The Jews have been living in Muslim countries for centuries. There is no compulsion in religion YES we are conquerors of countries but we do not force the religion to your necks. The verses that do say what you might think it does was revealed in a certain TIME theres a context to it.

@FATAL12SKILLZ belief in god is not the default position, you dont need good resons NOT to believe in god, you need good reasons TO BELIEVE in god. We develop morality through evolution, we become more aware of ourselves and of others, and realize that our actions have consequenses, these consequenses affect us and others which lead to us behaving morally.

1. it is our instinct to want to look for patterns, when we see an object, we want to know where it came from and what made it.

2. When the quran speaks it tells people to kill others who dont believe what you do, which is far away from the human nature.

3. It has no scientific signs.

4. Beautiful words can also be false words.

5. I'm neither blind or def, if you could provide me with real, scientific evidence of the existance of a god i would be very open to accepting it.
