One of the most bitter battle arenas of the Second World War, Pearl Harbour represented the trigger that led America into the greatest conflict ever recorded and the eventual liberation of the people of Asia and the Pacific.
On the 7th December 1941 Japan launched surprise attacks across the Pacific region, setting battleships ablaze in Pearl Harbour, then routing the British in Malaya and capturing Singapore itself: the greatest humiliation in British war history.
The Japanese now seemed unstoppable and after being at war with China for a decade, and shocking the world with atrocities like the Nanking Massacre, they believed their destiny was to rule Asia under the Emperor, for them, a living god.
Japan makes good cars but they were worse than the germans during the war. Napalm and the atomic bomb was made to battle them and their aggressive waring helped the spred of communism. They are wery dangerous and should only be allowed a minimum of weapons -mainly for self defense. Also the whole world should tell new generations of japanese what their ansesters have done.

IJN officers told their aircrews to do their best, but then ignored them when they begged for a follow up strike, that the Americans were totally out to lunch and couldn’t find their asses with a roadmap.
Smashing up Battleship Row was all well & fine, but aircrews said that smashing up the logistic facilities would be a more important War Winning accomplishment that couldn't be ingnored under the circumstances; that of American incompetence.
They were ignored.

Submarines spotted the unlawful refueling of the imperial fleet by Standard Oil tankers in the Inland Sea, and spotted them again as they sortied from west of Hokkaido for the raid on Pearl.
