I love this song. The way I read it and understand it, I think the symbolism can go much further than just 'a president'. It can be anyone who just walks by someone who is suffering and doesn't feel troubled or at least tries to help in some small way. Right or Left Wing, this song isn't about politics. It's about suffering and how some of us are so wrapped up in our own world, we can't at least give a prayer - or even just a thought. Pink is gorgeous, talented, and a fantastic human being. <3

This song is one of the best, most sensitive indictments of a public outcry in America, against Bush and his kind of devoid human-beings and their lack of compassion for the human race. Money controls them. If there is a Hell, God has a very special place for George W. Bush! How do they sleep at night? Yes, I am a Socialist and a Humanitarian and proud of it! Peace & Love! Everyone can make their own opinions about who this song could be meant for but it is meant for Bush...who used cocaine and has a daughter thats gay...com'on. I love this song because it is so SPECIFICALLY AIMED at Bush. Even tho he is just a puppet like Obama...at least Obama ~Seems~ educated. Bush was an all out IDIOT...a rich idiot...but at the very least a crying shame to this country....So how much you wanna bet that nomatter if none of us vote for OBAMA he will get his 4 more years?

i seem to recall that a lot of Bush "supporters" actually agreed with this song ~ in my opinion, and it's my opinion, Bush had angered a lot of Americans, a lot of them, by the time he finally left office; with lots of money then and he will keep receiving lots of money ... for his lifetime. our elected officials need to work, pay taxes, retire without a salary and try to live on social security/medicare as most hard working people do ... again, in my opinion ... LOVE THIS SONG!

@kimmleach Spot on, Kim. I'd love to see her revamp and tailor this song to Obama. We have just as much war, maybe more - even though we may not have as much televised 'shock & awe' as we did with the Bush clown. We still have Guantanamo and the Patriot Act. None of our freedom's have been restored under this Hope for Change administration.
