I've used PCs since DOS 5.0 and switched to Mac a few years ago.

The best Mac users I meet are former Windows-heads who have cut their teeth on DOS and Windows 3.1 in the past, and actually 'appreciate' a lot of what the Mac has/can do for them. Mac people who know nothing but Mac are usually among the snobbery that I've met.

That's just my opinion, but I think "switchers" are probably the most down-to-earth amongst the Mac community.

@lazygamer247 call me jealous then, but it seems that mac users have a insecure personality, and tunnel that feeling through the things they buy, so they buy things that actracts attention from others, instead of doing it just using their personal qualities.

Mac users are stupid users? the UI of Mac OS leaves no room for self discovery, you are just guided to everything, it's like having the help guide on, non-stop.

I believe that the mac is a cult like product with a cult like following mac users constantly speak of superiority and security but the same security and thought of superiority can be acquired with free as in beer software such as bsd the os mac is based off of or even linux from what I read hardware wise mac is inferior to pc when it comes to terms of cost hardware tends to be outdated due to the very nature of the development of the unix kernal although mac is quicker to drop depricated parts

Windows is the CHEAPEST option, that's why its more popular.

I'm the proud owner of a Macbook Pro and iPhone 4, I chose them because Apple products are known for their good quality and stylish design. But yes, Apple users like myself are very particular and we do appreciate the 'finer things in life' :p

I have an Ipod touch 4G and i like it however as long as i can get a computer for half the price than the cheapest Mac and a Computer in that fits the Palm of my hand from other companies besides Apple . I'll never buy a Mac.

Dude when you buy a Mac you don't have a lot of options you are stuck with what they give you in a computer and your options are limited how can you call yourself particular or picky?! Mac users are Mac users because almost all of them think themselves artist and movie directors...
