Mikey Learns to Ride part 1.wmv

He's 19 years old and has never really been a riding horse. He was saddled a few times and walked up and down the barn aisle in front of his mares, but that's pretty much it. This represents 4 weeks of training, in a halter. I bought him from Melissa Roberts, near McAlester OK (that's her in the beginning of the video.) I recommend her as a knowledgable horse seller. Her mares will be having his babies next spring (2011) and there have been others. He's on allbreedpedigree (dot) com under his registered name GDE Tsyndari. I call him Mikey after two things-- that old commercial where Mikey wouldn't eat anything (he's a picky eater!), and the Archangel. I think he likes it.
