Of all the Gameboy Final Fantasy Legends, number three will always be my favorite. It had an involving storyline, a better weapon system than that in the prequels, and great music.

In Japan, the game was called "Sa•Ga 3 Jikuu no Hasha" or "Champions of Time and Space".

  • Yeah, the three Final Fantasy Legend games on the Gameboy are the start of the SaGa series (which currently has nine games spanning different systems). Also, Square developed the games and published them in 1993. However, the North American re-release of the three games in 1998 was published by Sunsoft.

Anyways, when the Gameboy SaGa games were released in North American, Square changed their names to Final Fantasy Legend to presumably to boost sales on the strength of Final Fantasy's name.

  • Alright well this crap just deleted my post. Anyways, I had Legends I and III and coulda swore they were made by SUNSOFT so I wiki'd it:

(look up 'list of SUNSOFT games')

    WHAT IS THIS HERESY?!

And they say that Legends is from the SaGa series??

    o_o
