The no-goal by Jarret Stoll earlier in the 2nd period of the Stars-Kings game led to an outbreak of chippiness and general unplesantness for the rest of the game. This mess with 27 seconds left in the 2nd was only the first major outbreak. After the dust had settled, Dustin Brown was in the running for an Oscar, Karlis Skrastins was in the sin bin for Brown skating right into him (called interference by the refs), and Steve Ott and Davis Drewiske got five each for fighting.
