I began studying classical guitar many years ago, with Jodacil Damaceno, one of the most prominent names in the classical guitar in Brazil. As he moved to another city, and due to other circumstances, I remained 35 years without even touching a guitar. Time has flown since then. Two years ago I watched someone who played "Recuerdos de la Alhambra" on YouTube and missed my guitar. I felt regret for having stopped my guitar studies for so long time. So I resumed my studies after an interval of 35 years! I have classes regularly (once a week) at the Niterói Conservatory of Music (Rio de Janeiro -- Brazil), with an excelent teacher, Leonardo Corrêa da Rocha. As the saying goes: it is never too late to begin again!
