To commemorate Cambridge University's 800th anniversary in 2009, a group of young singers were selected from the college chapel choirs of the St. Catherine's, Clare, Girton, Robinson and Trinity to form a choir to pay a 4-day visit to Noord Holland and gave a concert on 20 March 2010 (11:00-12:00) in the Old Church of Amsterdam (de Oude Kerk). Conducted by Dominic O'Connor Robinson. Music by composers from the 16th to 20th century (Gregorio Allegri, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Thomas Tallis, Tomas Luis de Victoria, William Byrd, Henry Purcell, Anton Bruckner, Gustav Holst, William Harris, Benjamin Britten, and John Tavener).

The Spaniels

Goodnight Sweetheart

Goodnight, sweetheart
Well. it's time to go
Goodnight, sweetheart
Well, it's time to go
I hate to leave you, but I really must say
Goodnight, sweetheart, goodnight

Well it's three o'clock in the mornin'
Baby, I just can't do right
Well, I hate to leave you, baby
I don't mean maybe
Because I love you so

Mother, and, oh, your father
Won't like it if we stay out too late
Well, I hate to leave you, baby
Don't mean maybe
You know I hate to go
