Old Gray Cemetery - Knoxville, TN

One of Knoxville's oldest Cemeteries, established in 1850. More than 13 acres of graves - representing victorian art and architecture. Monuments and mausoleums as well as unmarked graves honor the lives of many families, prominent in Knoxville and otherwise. We went for the ghost stories, of course, where we hoped to get a sense if there really is a dark, shadowy figure roaming this historical site. This video is short and does not even represent the beauty of the monuments in this graveyard. Why? Because something drained our camera battery so quickly, the lens wouldn't even retract, until we were about 1 mile away, then the camera was okay. We barely got past the entrance, too sad. This place is awesome. We will return there, this investigation is incomplete.

if you like this you should stop by in greeneville in old harmony or old mt bethal cemeteries they are from the 1790s and early 1800s very interesting

@edisonphonographfan Thanks, we have a few spots in Greeneville to check out, and we will consider your recommendations. We have since returned to this one two additional times and have even more beautiful pix of nice monuments. I wish our graveyards today would be this interesting.

I can't wait to see the next video! I actually stopped by there one night when I lived up in K'ville & Mama was in St. Marys hospital, anyway I stopped there (at night) on my way home & had my window rolled down & was gonna try to get some pics but I kept hearing someone whistling....scared the crap outta me & I left! lol I never did SEE anyone though...? The place is BEAUTIFUL though, huh? I can't wait to see what you get at night! =)
