The political world is one where you have to be very particular about the words you use. If you screw one of them up, you're going to get piledriven by the media. If you ad-lib like Biden, you end up making embarassing mistakes like Biden.

@boldrdash actually, i'm pretty sure he crossed the Delaware around Christmas-time because if it weren't around that time, the Haitians would've been much more alert had it not been a holiday (drowsing feasts) and harsh, cold weather (during winter; this would reduce the odds of an attack), and Washington might've not won over there
