I don't care if it rains or freezes as long as I've got my plastic Jesus sitting on the dashboard of my car it comes in colors pink and pleasant it glows in the dark cause its iridescent I'll take it with me whenever I go far so give me my lady Madonna dressed in rhinestones and sitting on a pedestal of abalone shells driving 90 but I'm not scared because I've got my Virgin Mary assuring me that I will never go to hell

Plastic Jesus is from the movie cool hand Luke sung by Paul Newman. And you can pray to whatever you want if you think it will help. But good luck with that stuff. I find education is more helpful then religion.

And statues or a cross are not object that are praised or worshiped, but something that may help people focus on their prayers, as in focusing on a statue of Mary when you're praying to her, but again, that is not at all the same as worshiping them. It's very clearly stated in scripture and doctrine that there is nothing other than God who is worthy of adoration and worship.
I wish people would look things up before they assert them to be true...

@clopaldinho That is not true. Roman Catholics make statues of saints and important people in the Christan tradition, but they are not worshiped. God (Jesus) is the only thing worshiped by Catholics. Yes, we pray to Mary and the saints and respect them for who they are and what they did, but that is not at all the same thing as worshiping them. Praying to Mary is like asking her to pray for you, because all saints in Heaven have a closer relationship to God. (cont...)
