  • You're welcome my friend.

  • Well they are all wrong - Mozambique is another example - they were a Portugese colony but decided to drive on the left because it was surrounded by lefthand countries.

  • Indeed - countries like Sweden used to be left hand traffic changed because countries bordering it was righthand.

Samoa is in a region where the majority of nations are lefthand traffic.

  • Thank you for the informations !

  • East Timor want to follow Mozambique.

  • The reason Mozambique join Commonwealth is to fight apartheid in South Africa. That time, South Africa was suspended Commonwealth membership and returned post apartheid.

Even Algeria, Rwanda, Madagascar, Angola and D.R. Congo interested to join Commonwealth.

  • Maybe Mainland European get used on their mind that driving on the left road means Commonwealth. How about Nigeria, Gambia, Sierra Leone and Ghana, They also Commonwealth but they have right hand traffic due to all it's border are former French Colonies. Canada also a Commonwealth country with right hand traffic due to match with US border. Otherwise Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Macao, East Timor and Suriname are forced to join Commonwealth.

  • Is what the journalists in Europe says. Is all about Commonwealth

  • Yeah I agree, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Suriname, Mozambique, Macao, East Timor and other non Commonwealth countries are with left hand traffic.

  • Happy switching day to left hand traffic to all Samoan. If any Japanese especially from Okinawa watching this video, remember 30/7/1978 or 730.
