@CORRIFARM is that true about when the Mchale boys were testing the first Fusions, closing roads around Ballinrobe?

Thanks very much for the flattery - though I ought to be improving as I'm getting plenty of practise! I'm certainly enjoying it.

Good vid, those 2 in1 balers seem to be the must have item of 2010!! the days of the lone guy with his tractor and wrapper are over

I suppose there'll always be a need for a baler that doesn't wrap if you want hay and have a barn to store it in. The guys who bought a wrapper must be feeling sick, though!

I really like this video Alan,
I allways wondered how a farmer could afford to wrap all those bales in plastic as it must be a lot of money to buy that wrap. There are better balers than that one but it is doing every thing in one hop.
I guess if you don';t have a barn to put the hay in guess that is the cheap way.

I think this was for silage rather than hay, but a barn is still needed, ideally. The plastic must cost a lot, and you have to pay to dispose of it after, as well (not allowed to burn it, produces black smoke). But barns don't come cheap and bales are more easily taken somewhere and fed to the cattle.
