You know. The beginning of disc 2 is probably my favourite part in the game. You're far enough into the game to have cool spells and abilities, yet you're not too far in to have everything and just pwn all enemies. What really makes this part good, though, is that very important parts in the story takes place; Aeris' death, Cloud discovers stuff about himself, and more. Its also good because you isolated from the rest of the world until you get the airship, and you feel so relieved when you done

@DETROIT2MILWAUKEE Don't you know? NPCs don't have random encounters because they have no loot! Why else do monsters attack you? They want XP, gold and items? How else do you explain monsters carrying around swords, rings, gold and experience points?
