Mario Kart DS: Rainbow Road 1'59"905 no shortcut (HD 720p test)

Here is a much better quality version of my Rainbow Road time with the game sound effects audible!

The time is over a year old now but it is still my most recent PR in 150cc. Before this, Rainbow Road was my weakest time, so I knew I could easily smash my old PR when I decided to TT on Rainbow Road. I got a low 2'02 very quickly, and realised I was actually quite good at this course, so I decided to go for sub 2 minutes. It took three evenings worth of tries to get there. I was lucky to get 1'59 so quickly, but I still felt that the run was sloppy, especially the third lap. Maybe I'll play again sometime and go for 1'58!


FAQ

Q: Did you use cheats to get this time?

A: No. None of my times are driven with cheats on. If you think this is 300cc, permanent MT or all that bullshit, then you don't know much about MKDS.

This vid shows (very obviously) that no hacks are used, and anyone who tries to suggest otherwise is retarded.

I use an action replay to make the video only. The code allows replays to be shown from the live perspective, nothing more

what he uses is called snaking /RBD (or something like that), its hard to do at rainbow road, good job!

@Macaque909 You have to keep trying, I got some stuff on internet sites at ridiculously low prices, it took longer as it's just luck on other people's bids.

Also try other sites like amazon, freeads, etc...

Remember, the smaller and less-known the site is, the more chance there is of getting a low bid.
