Don't know who Dorothy Kilgallen was? Way back when, she was a panelist on the American quiz show "What's My Line?" She was a sweet and clever lady, as well as very beautiful. She also just happened to be an investigative reporter who gained a private interview with Jack Ruby after the Kennedy assassination. The FBI wanted to know how she got hold of a top secret Warren Commission document and she wouldn't tell. She was also one of the few voices who spoke out on behalf of Sam Shepherd, the doctor (wrongly?) accused and convicted of killing his wife--and upon which many believe "The Fugitive" is based. Even Sinatra hated her.

She was a sweet lady who found her way onto a game show as a regular panelist AND got a little too close to figuring out the Kennedy assassination for someone's liking. She was found dead in her home for no apparent reason in 1965.

  • Booze and pills are the "apparent reason" for the deaths of Danny Casolaro and Marilyn Monroe, but people have made money by saying they were murdered. We have sound and pictures of Kilgallen approximately four hours before she died. She slurs her words when she introduces Tony Randall, but after that her speech improves. We don't have sound or pictures of Marilyn Monroe from such a short time before she died. Witnesses including James Bacon say she gulped barbiturates for weeks before death

  • No apparent reason? How about booze and pills?

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!

  • this is AWESOME.
