Just gotten this for my gaming, ftp and use as a data center. Pretty big reach across the table. Pretty loud fan are super powerful. Anyways there is enough to upgrade. I got this from work. My brother didn't needed need this because he has other few of these server too. It is running on Microsoft Window server 2008 r2 Standard. I have a extra cpu socket. My cpu is 2.8ghz xeon. 2.80ghz, 1gb ram. Can support 16gb of ram. The amount of gb on the server is very little close to 80gb I could also have a secondary hard drive and could setup by raid. I tried, opensuse, redhat, fedora, ubuntu and a few other and I picked window server 2008 standard because it' run faster. I'm happy with it as is but will be upgrading soon. :)

This video is a picture and video. The picture slideshow is first then at 2:05 is a video showing how powerful is those fan

  • I'm upgrading my spec it's wrong.

  • I saw the same table in India :)... Howz the performance of the server? Does this use DDR2 or DDR3 ram.

  • @mo7senses

DDR2 support up to 16gb. The performance is fantastic and I'm only using 1gb. The os run great and snappy. But ram is so little so to do multitasking running many program needs more ram. I'm actually running out of ram on my server but it's working right and for what I'm using 1gb is enough. But I'm upgrading soon.

  • which country r u from?

Thanks for writing back I do have 2 Dell poweredge servers Dell poweredge T410 & R510. Both are monsters! I'm looking for cheap memory upgrades for both and since the Dell ECC memory price are quite high for 4x4GB DDR3 rams im looking for alternative. Can you advise on this? I shortlisted Kingston and Corsair for the same.

    TIA
