The Volt is a soild beginners device, not much more than that. It works much better than the 510 kit and a billion times better than the Smoking Everywhere kit, IMO. It is a little pricey, but if you're looking for something that looks and feels like a cigarette, look no further. This is probably the best product for those requirements on the market.
Thanks for watching everyone. :)

@steeljan Nhaler has the "MF" batteries (an obvious nod to Maxx Fusion). Those are not Kanger. His regular 4.2V 808D batteries are Kanger, not the MF.
I have regulated batteries from Bloog, Volt and Halo. They are all the original Leaford design, regulated at 3.6V, and all perform pretty much identical to one another. The original Bloog MF batteries are still the best batteries I have, 9 months after I bought them and they see daily use. You can't go wrong with any of those 3.

@willieBB123 The Ego is totally not as good as a SmokelessImage Volt in all sorts of ways. I started with an Ego, went to making my own box mods and all sorts of other big battery mods, variable voltage, with all variances of atties/cartos, clearmizers, low-res dual-coil cartomizers, you name it. The Volt is superior to all of that stuff and you cannot beat their price plus shipping and great customer service.

@sundaynightdrunk There are tons of Volt/Maxxfusion look-alike batteries out there right now, but if you've followed my recent reviews, I've been trying as many as I can and most do not perform equally and it's hard to know what you'll be getting when you order. Nhaler says on their website that their 808's are Kanger-made (KR808), well, the Volt/Maxxfusion batteries are not made by Kanger. Halo's battery specs are not the same as the Volt's, per the Halo website, and the Volt is cheaper.

@steeljan Halo has the same batteries, but they aren't any cheaper. The only place that I've found that has them significantly cheaper is Drew at nhaler.

Great review TVB. The Volt hits that sweet spot, easy to use, vapes really well, reasonably priced, great customer support... argh, it's hard not to sound like a commercial for them, lol. I'm now trying to find KR808D-1 piece parts to put together a pauper's kit for cheaper, to do a video on that. Any suggestions on where to find batteries the same?--To me, looks like Bloog & Volt are the only ones with these exact batteries(regulated voltage, high & steady wattage). Thks!

@2009dclawer I'll jump in an answer this for ya 2009dclawer, yes you can. When I'm on my computer, I always have the pcc plugged in, right with me. So vaping and changing batteries is super simple. When my Volt's batt runs down, I slide open the case, take out the fresh batt, slip in the new one, close the case, press and hold the pcc button til the batt starts charging. When I go out, unhook the pcc and go. If a batt is charging when I disconnect the case, still no problems.

@missjenibee as another person with loads of mods... I love this kit. Definitely worth it if you want a a nice small pv for going out.
