Russia hopes the reset will work

Russian president Dmitry Medvedev hopes his countrys relations with the U.S. will be reset when he meets U.S. President Barack Obama at the G20 summit in London in less than two weeks.

new talks is a very good thing. still, Russia should be very careful, shouldn't take all american words and promises for granted. so far, it seems to me US and Obama are still going on with old goals just by gentler craftier means. Russia, should never forget about fundamental not based on words or even treaties means of self-protection and protection of its interests.

By doing at least some of the things I mentioned will fix our image at the moment and perhaps even heal our relations with the rest of the world and once again we will gain favor with the people here in the states if not internationally or abroad. This will also show Russia that we are serious in considering strengthening of relations and who knows maybe this world crisis will go away too. I'm not saying give way to every Russian whim but at least meet them half way. Thats all theyre asking for.

Perhaps the place to start is have a coop missile base operated by Russians and us in Czech and Poland if the plans are stil in place otherwise get rid of it. Second, give Kosovo back to Serbs. Third dissasociate with Georgia until they get their act together. Fourth begin billion dollar projects with Russia to improve environment in all aspects of this world. And most importantly of all unite together against tyranny and oppression and poverty.

Medvedev Russia is not Yeltsin's Russia or Soviet Russia. Those days are long gone and by having our foreign policy based around the years of fear and chaos is not a productive nor forward moving option. In fact I've noticed the more Russia looks into the future the more we look back. Why? Because Washington doesnt want to admit they've fucked up in a lot of ways and so why not blame the old so called enemy. Its all too childish and that has got to stop.

Reset button no longer works thanks to Biden that fuckin' prick. Russia has extended its hand of friendship to us time and time again and I fear their patience will soon end. NATO paid by us has done nothing but lie, deceive and piss Russia off like ol' Joe has. It is time for us to start inviting Russian diplomats over and get real relations going. Iran, Kosovo and Georgia issues are yet to be dealt with and by downplaying or ignoring Russia's efforts is our mistake which comes at a high price.

Have total admiration for Dr Kissinger and what he stands for and he is one of the greatest in World History. History is a better place to have Dr Kissinger despite many of the things he is claimed to have done.
