@onslo8 The original 71 riv GS engine will have a TA code stamped between the 3rd and 4th spark plug front to back on the left (driver) side of engine. Along with the 2 letter designation will be a 3 digit production code.
The 71 GS Riv was in fact equipped with the 3.42 limited slip

@mashawllewis it i 1971,that is the only year they have louver on trunk,I used to own one
also at 1.22 you see the taillight chrome piece goes from left to right and looks like it divide it to two half, that is also 71 ,
it is only missing riviera emblem where trunk key is it is oval shape and slide up ,it is there to cover the key hole
72 do not have that ,it is just chrome around the taillight

@str8OuttaNaptown30 - I was cleaning it out. Front and back. That why the seat was up. LOL. I am 6'1"

@onslo8 - It should have the GS Badge, Posi rear, the correct engine code for your year GS and a stock chrome air cleaner top with painted botom.
