So, I threw this camera mount together out of a bike headlight bracket today, and this was the preliminary test using my mom's digital camera. I've now fixed it so that there's hopefully less vibration (that's the buzzing sound heard when slowing down). I plan to use it tomorrow to get a video of my loop around my grandfather's farm/house/pond, which will give you guys an idea of how I usually ride; some seem to think that I don't know how to do anything besides crawl over obstacles, simply based upon the first video of my FourTrax 300.

  • Awesome! Looking forward anyways. Im trying to get a cobra exhaust, either utility series or quiet series, not decided yet. I have a quiet series on my 1985 honda 250 and it sounds great! I am really worried about my header bolts though, they are soo rusted its not even funny so im scared i might break them off when i try to install it. But owell! What can u do right? Lol

  • @Fallout3ispwn Meh...I'm not sure if I'd waste my time with a Cobra exhaust unless you have no other options and really want an aftermarket exhaust. That SuperTrapp should fit. I can't remember what condition the header bolts were when I pulled off my stock (1988) exhaust, but I don't recall having any problems. They may actually be baked on mud stains. I haven't forgotten about the videos, BTW. I've been busy all this week, but I should have loads of time to sit around and do nothing next week!

  • Awesome dude! Sweet exhaust, supertrapps are LOUD! Looking forward to the other riding vid.

  • @Fallout3ispwn Thanks! The thing that I love about SuperTrapp mufflers is that they're totally adjustable. I think I have 12 discs in it right now (which my carb is tuned for). I think as few as 4 discs could be used in my application if I leaned out the carb.

I did get some film off-roading, but it was quite shaky and the camera kept coming loose. I've got nearly twwenty minutes of footage, though. I guess I'll crop together something and get it posted, just don't have high expectations! :D
