4/9/11 (11pm) - While waiting for the subway on a Saturday night in NY, we saw this amazing singer/guitarist perform. Although only a few were paying attention to him at first, passengers started to gather, sing/dance along with him and take photos of him by the end of the video.

That was the only time I did not want the train to come early.
Gotta love New York!

Songs:
I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch) - Four Tops
Proud Mary - Tina Turner

  • Wow. Just heard this guy today at 42nd Street while waiting for the downtown 1 train. He was singing something by Sam Cooke.

  • @scooniepenn Awesome! :) He' was very entertaining! I guess 42nd St is his spot. Wish we knew his name.

  • Great talent

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! this is so good.....

  • To chaotic

  • Notice how all the people in the back are lip sinking. They want to let loose and join the fun, but they might "look undignified." So they go through life missing all the chances for fun, so they can look the way "no one cares about." If people had more fun on the subways maybe there would be less crime, more camaraderie, and yes... "Music." The universal language!

  • The world would be a better place if people just broke out into song all the time.
