Holidays are over. Now it is time to practise. Aguado is still one of the best teachers for the guitar. Study No. 10 from his Nuevo Metodo de Guitarra (revision by Jean-Francois Delcamp, www.delcamp.net) provides a good workout for the right hand. Short, but difficult, especially the changes from chords to repeated notes. It may be a good idea to practise the demisemiquavers with different fingerings: im- am-ai-amiam etc.

  • Hej hört sich klasse an. Gibt's dazu auch ein Tab?

  • Sorry, leider nicht

  • Hi Juergen,

this is smashing!I love the right hand hand pattern, sounds easy when you play it so perfectly, but this demands a lot of control.

    Congrats!

    All the best,

    Jasper

  • Hi Jasper,

thank you for watching and that you finally play my beloved Carcassi :)

Ease and control come from Oktoberfest, that's no secret and the joy is from Bayerns 2:5

    All the best

  • Fantastisch. Nicht nur der Schwierigkeitsgrad, sondern auch das lockere und flüssige Spiel. Da muß man erstmal hinkommen!

    Trotzdem Vielen Dank.

    Schönen Abend noch

  • Very lively and nteresting study. Sor also composed the similar style of study such as op.31-19 as you well know. I play the repeated 4 notes with pami, which might be one of the most rational and simple ways to play those type of study with comfortable speed and fluency without difficulty. Anyway, your performance and right hand technic is really nice. One thing I would like to point out is to putting accent in the first note of 4 repetitive notes, which may make this study sound more natural.

  • Thanks for sharing this great study.

    My best, Don

  • Prost Werner!

  • Danke schön Manuel, jetzt habe ich endlich einmal Zeit mir deine Videos anzuhören

    Alles Gute

  • Thank you Sarah! It's always a good idea to practise ;)
