If one more person in the UK tells me that Nando's is Mexican, and look at me like I'm retarded when I say Portuguese I'm gonna bring out a chain saw!! It's PORTUGUSE!!!!! This dumb ass add really is'nt helping things either! I lived in S.A and I'm portuguse, Nandos was started over there and I can remember it being good! There were no burgers on the menus 5 years ago!

What a crap accent! This is as far from Portuguese as the food they serve. The guy sounds somewhere between a mix of Greek and Mexican. It's about time Nandos has an identity check. It's the equivalent of a fast food chain selling everything from chicken to burgers from pastiche restaurants that look more Mexican than Portuguese playing a mix of South American music (Cuban, Brazilian, Mexican)?....mmmm very Portuguese! Oh, and it's 'piri-piri' not 'peri-peri' as Nandos claims. Muito Obrigado.

I totally agree! I couldn't believe when i've heard the advert. The accent is not Portuguese! I you want to know the Portuguese accent listen to Mourinho! The music in the background is more south american than Portuguese and, by the way, "piri-piri" is not a Portuguese traditional food, cod fish is!!
