How do you get the secret mission??

I used salvage corvettes the whole game. Honestly, it was a breeze.
And fun. ^.^ Wound up with more than 130 ion frigates by the end of the game.

Can you still get Raider Retreat? Or is it now non-existent ?

@Axatar If you modify the game files a bit, you *can* do it. Your game might crash a gazzillion times till your mothership actually receives it, but it will work eventually. I captured both Turanic Raider Carriers that way.

I prefer not to use them, I makes the game harder and more interesting.

I remembe i would always try to capture a raider carrier, but never have enough salvagers to do so :(

You cannot, it's set by default as Mothership class. :)

I like Ion Array Frigates (I never get tired of watching those fold-out panels open up). When I first saw them the first time I played mission 5(?), I pronounced ion array as 'iron 'arry' and the name has suck ever since. "Good old Iron 'arries" I'll often say to myself. I managed to capture seven Kadeshi multi-mean frigates in my latest run-through as well. At some point I'll go back and blow up the ghost ship in the well of lost souls with them, just to see what happens... :)

You cannot destroy the Ghost Ship, believe me i tried, it regenerates after a certain damage is done.
