Watch the Valcent video that aired on Friday night on Discovery Communications' Science Channel called "Brink". Brink is a show about cutting-edge breakthroughs in technology, research, inventions and discoveries from the scientific world. As oil and gas prices go up and down, we at Valcent work to keep the costs down and deliver a sustainable fuel alternative. http://blog.valcent.net/ www.valcent.net

  • feed this to cattle and beef can become carbon neutral

  • Love IT!!! California needs to invest more in Green Tech!!! Prop 23 is down in the polls, but the Yes on 23 campaign just got a new influx of hot, anonymous cash, so we'll need to fend them off in the home stretch to Election Day.

Hit me back if you'd like to talk Prop 23. We're coming out with a bunch of great No on Prop 23 videos soon!

  • visit my video.. where indonesian people are making it in large scale..

  • Firstly, let me commend the CEO of this company on his ability to say the word "speCies", instead of "speSHies".

Secondly, people can replicate this process at home. It should be possible for those willing to make the effort to create a smaller version of this process in their backyard. The algae they grow could then be 'pressed' to collect the oil, which could then be converted to Bio-Diesel. No more dependency on Fuel companies (including Valcent).

  • Does algea produce any greenhouse gasses as emissions?

  • it's probably not known. it's suprising what you'd think is known but isn't.

  • Mmm, I want some brownies! =D

  • Do you have or know where I can get production numbers for growing and extracting oils from Azolla (water fern)

    Thanks

  • How much does it cost?

  • This is pretty amazing. Hope this works out for our future!
