Anita talks about how positive people receive negative attention

Anita is an HIV+ woman in India. She never thought she would get HIV-- especially from her husband. She lives in a society plagued with discrimination, but she is a fighter, despite the cards she's been dealt.

Breakthrough's new campaign, Is This Justice? highlights the social stigma many Indian women face after contracting HIV/AIDS from their husbands. In India, 5.2 million people are currently living with HIV of which 2 million are women, a majority of whom have contracted it from their husbands. Click below to watch Anita's story.
