A Los Shakers les criticaban que cantaban en "uruguayo" por como pronunciaban el inglés, pero eran unos genios,por eso los admiraban grandes del Rock Argentino como Los Gatos.Además fueron unos genios cuando hicieron "It´s My Party " de Lesley Gore que contaba la historia de una muchacha que lloraba por un tal Johnny que se iba con Juddy,y ellos contaron la historia desde el punto de vista del novio de Juddy. ¡Eso estuvo surreal! y lo hicieron en los 60s.
