Yepes is: Indescribable. Iconoclastic. Violent. Powerful. Sexual. Beautiful. Dangerous.
The day began as a Deep Dark Red project but quickly veered off and away into Yepes' paint-covered hands. He's making Chrysta Bell into one of his Madonnas. It's 3:am in his studio in San Antonio and Howling Wolf is on infinite repeat. I'm going a little crazy, but realize that that is part of the deal and I had better just record what is happening and get out of the way.
The fact that I got this broadcast in primetime TV is somewhat insane.
