Raye Dawn never picked up her step daughter from school! That is suspicous in its own right! Plus we don't know who actually killed her that day! Porter could have had that 20 minute window of opportunity or Raye could have so that Lance wouldn't have gotten Kelsey! I personally believe that Raye did it because she didn't want to lose Kelsey to Lance! It was said that Mike was wonderful to Kelsey and his daughter even said that! The only fault he has is enabling child abuse!!!

I'm a mother and I believe that she loved her daughter,.....you can see it in all the photos and videos, but as a mother......how could you not know something was going on? I mean a broken collar bone, two broken legs, bruses........I mean, how could you not see that someone was hurting your child. Every time you child was in the mother's home, something happened. I just can't believe that she knew nothing about it. #1 job as a parent is to protect your child..........that didn't happen!

@balletgrl142 It's obvious that she could have been coached, don't you realize that? My biological mom was manipulative like that and tried to accuse my father of being abusive. He won in the end because the child advocate was able to see through it but there wasn't much luck with Kelsey because the child advocates there were dumb asses!!!

@sekangel88 ummmm his own daughter admitted to the school guidance counselor that when raye dawn was gone, he would spank Kelsey "real hard" until she threw up. she also said she watched him hit Kelseys head against a brick wall while her step-mom was gone, him taking kelsey into a room and when they came out kelsey was crying all of this happened when raye was not home

I'm not going to tiptoe around it: Everyone knows Kelsey was a child and not a purpose, anyone with senses can tell that. However, she had a purpose. Her purpose was to teacher her family (mainly Lance and RDS) how to love. Unfortunately, she wasn't able to do that because her life was cut short either by her mother's hands or her mother's ignorance. Kelsey was a beautiful girl that didn't deserve what happened to her and nobody is denying that. RDS and Porter both got what they deserved.

Yeah right! What you have is called ignorance! Kelsey's a child and she was supposed to live! Her purpose came about after her death to prevent another child from ending up like her!Raye is a dumb ass because there is no way that she couldn't have known that her baby was being abused! When the broken collar bone happened she said that Kelsey fell from a slide! Try explaining that one! And the retinal hemmorhage didn't happen because of the accident! Before the zoo, Kelsey's leg was already hurt!

That wasn't true either! Raye Falsified the report but didn't have it dropped because she would have gotten in trouble for lying!!! Lance never abused her!!!!! And Lance would never hurt his little girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am 19 and i do care for both kelsey and raye but she DID not know.Raye didnt know it was abuse from Mike.kelsey was not abused the whole 9 months of her life.I read everything and I dont belive she knew or she was abusing kelsey.Buts that my opinon

Amber, I don't know your age, but you seem to be very young. I understand if you love Kelsy's mom, but SHE was responsible for protecting her child. WE DO CARE for Kelsey and all the other innocent babys that are being murdered and sexually abused at the hands of boyfriends and husbands of the mother. WAKE UP!!!!! How could she not know? Maybe she didn't know how to handle it, I don't know, but there's no way, she thought a 2 year old kept getting those injuries on her own.
