How to make a Typography Face in Gimp

The long awaited tutorial.. My fault for not making one last week, I had to reinstall EVERYTHING on my hard drive due to my mac's partition software being finicky... I have no idea whatsoever why the video quality is so under par, I was recording in HD, apparently my screen capture program is incredibly terrible and more trouble then it's worth.
Anyway, I'm tired, and heres my relatively mediocre tutorial. My photoshop tutorial I have planned is pretty good, I think.

Good vid, but your going way too fast. small mistakes like saying "167" when the number on the screen is "176" make me want to go find another How-To video on this. as for the photoshop thing, i dont know why your asking your viewers, if you CAN make photoshop tutorials AND gimp tutorials, go for it. other then that, it was an okay vid. just slow down and go a little bit more into detail when giving instructions.

i did this and i played around a bit and if you make an illusion on the last layer you did below the rainbow layers, the "fg to transparent" grdiant layer, it looks really cool, and it gives it a sort of "galaxy effect to the iwarps you did. and btw i had to make an account on the render website, so i hope that website you gave us is safe, i trust you and all but still....
