Those cockatiels there look like grey cockatiels, and on them it is easiest to tell.
MALE: will have a bright yellow face with bright red cheeks.
FEMALE: will not have a bright yellow face, it will be the same colour as their body, and on her tail feathers and under her wings there will be striped bar markings.

No, the dish is normally kept in the corner, however they slide it all over the place. I do not hang my feed dishes in my cages that are not very tall.
