Today's guest: Toshi.

Thanks for being a guest Toshi!
And thanks to Jonny for finding this week's guest.

I think it's very useful to get used to listening to other non-native speakers, because there's a good chance that you'll end up in a work environment with many other non-native speakers.

  • Hi everyone!!!

...I was wondering if it would be possible to get the transcript from Toshi's dialog...I really needed so if anyone can help me with this I'd be really thankful. Lots of hugs for all!! ;)

  • Click on the link that's under "English script", the transcript is there. Cheers :)

  • I wonder why Toshi was wearing a jacket in your studio, is your radiator broken? ;)

  • In my experience, to reach his level of English takes 6 month to 8 month from scratch for Japanese if you focus to study the language in the country which is spoken English.

  • toshi looks like such a nice guy.. i watch this video over and over just to observe his congeniality and humbleness :)

  • Please come and work at Nissait so we can suck the eigo right out of your gaijin veins!

  • Great story Toshi is a great guy!

  • I have no problem understanding american english actually :) But it doesn't help much when you aren't used to listen to people not native english speaker, unless they are great at it. I never use subtitles for instance for films, unless it's by Ken Loach :p

  • You gotta add the 3 w's before the uiowaDOTedu link and maybe the others, but YT wouldn't let me post 3 w's
