@SavageArms357 Never got brand hate myself. As long as it does what it's supposed to do and doesn't go all saturday night special and blow up in your hand, every gun bought is another one to rub (figuratively) in the faces of anti-2A folks. Preferences are one thing, but I get some virulent hate for packing a 1911.

@SavageArms357 Yeah well, its just to bad that Glock cost 500 dollars and these cost between 2 and 3 thousand... Yeah, i'll stick with my Glock. These are nice but WAY overpriced.

I find that the weight of the steel frame (1911 or not) makes it easier to stay on target. I like my handguns big and heavy, within reason. A jericho 941 or any cz75 clone is perfect.

Personal preference. The glock may be a lighter, easier handling gun, but some people prefer the weight in a 1911.
