We also sing this song at my church and people have asked us why we sing it and they said that it was contemporary. "I know my redeemer liveth" I believe that phrase is found in the book of Job. Needless to say we haven't stopped singing the song :)
@LKCthatsme This is a beautiful and doctrinally sound song. I am a member of LBC and I have grown closer to the Lord through the ministry of this church. Our church has a heart to please the Lord and share the Gospel with our community and the world and that is what matters. If this music isn't to your liking, that is okay, but I know that my pastor and the staff of our church are prayerful about what songs are chosen. I pray for all who listen that they may be blessed and that God is glorified.
This song was made popular by a contemperary christain woman named Nicole C. Mullins. What a shame to use music that was written and produced by people that believe that you can lose you salvation. Or don't even believe in the Lord...only wanting to make a buck. And we wonder what is wrong with true christanity.
This song is so wonderfully great! I can listen to it over and over again, and it would still be a blessing! Thank you SO much for uploading all of these WCBC songs! It's such a blessing!
