Days before the US presidential elections, an alleged plot to assassinate Barack Obama, the Democratic presidential candidate, has been uncovered.

It is claimed that two white Americans planned to go on a national killing spree targeting black people, with Obama as their final target.

Although many think that such plots are not part of an orchestrated campaign of racial intimidation, it still reveals the depth of race as an issue in the ongoing presidential election campaign.




So what would it mean for the US to have a black president? And is the country ready for that?

Usually, elections involve choosing the lesser of two evils. What's worse--a right wing dummy or a far left liar? I think a dummy is better because a dummy (McCain) can be advised. But a liar (Obama)cannot be trusted.

Black Africans sold their fellow Black Africans into slavery. The descendants of those slaves now are lucky because now they live in the land of opportunity where a person can through hard work and dedication build a prosperous life. However, slavery has absolutely nothing to do with this year's election. Obama, himself, interestingly has no slaves in his ancestry. His father was an East African Muslim. Slaves imported into America came from West Africa.

To you because Obama IS black, you pay no attention to any of his associations which prove Obama's lack of character.
