After three days and some ten inches of rain this 170 year old retaining wall at St. Paul`s Catholic Church in Ellicott City just couldn`t take any more. One hopes the building, built originally as a bank but now used by the church for meetings, etc. will remain perched on the hill and not follow the wall.

  • My daughters car is the silver one on the right and her B.F.'s car is the green one second to left.

That`s a major pain, especially if they moved the cars there to avoid the water. Their "comprehensive" insurance will cover the damage but it`s still a bummer.

  • @AWAX0824 Fox was on the scene when I got there this morning.

  • Saw this first hand this morning and it blew my mind. This should now be a national news story. Weather Channel, CNN, Fox ??? These folks are very fortunate it occurred in the middle of the night on a Wednesday.
